About us
The vision started when a group of friends set off on a surf trip to Costa Rica.
We had a two week window to try and score as many waves as possible, and really progress our surfing.
We noticed that on certain days, the main breaks didn't work, and not surfing wasn't an option!
So we started to scope out different spots, ways to get there, spoke with local surfers, and were able to find some amazing breaks that gave us options for all conditions, on all days.
BK Surf Co. is an extension of this idea.
Our team of local pro surfers and cameramen brings you to the best waves, in all conditions in each of our locations. This increases wave time and count allows for more rapid and effective improvement.
We also ensure that we use our time in the water effectively. Our pro guides provide instruction on each new break we surf, and tips to take your surfing to the next level.
Video analysis sessions back at the villa are the most effective way to best utilise your time in the water. Our guides help take the lessons you learned surfing, and break them down on dry land to ensure maximum results.

BK Surf Co. kicks off the Spring 2022 season in Peniche, Portugal, bringing you a tailored, guided surf experience to take you to the next level.
Peniche is Portugal's undisputed surf capital. The area boasts more than 30 different breaks to choose from which angle in all directions, meaning it's always off-shore somewhere!
BK Surf Co.'s local guides are here to make sure you're at the right break, at the right time, always.
September-June is the optimal time to visit the region as the temperature both in and out of the water are at their best, the peaks aren't too packed, and the waves are pumping.
This makes it no surprise that the WSL hosts its annual tournament at Supertubos, Peniche every year. The 2022 tour will be rolling into town on 3-13 March, make sure you're there with us to witness the world's best in action!

Ananas Surf House
Located in the heart of the action, Ananas Surf House is our perfect home away from home in Portugal.
This bona fide surf house is a two minute walk from Baleal Bay which offers some of the region's most consistent surf, for all levels.
It is also a stone's throw to Baleal and Ferrel which encapsulate the area's surf scene and prominent characters. The two are home to the best bars, cafés, restaurants and local hang outs, as well as a number of great surf shops and surf camps including our local partners 58 and Rip Curl.
Fully equipped with all the modern comforts, swimming pool, tennis courts, and chill-out garden Ananas is the ultimate sanctuary in which to relax between sessions.
